I had the pleasure of working with Elva as a Peer Coach, and I can't speak highly enough of the experience. From our very first conversation, she listened intently to the story of my life and the things that I have been struggling with. Elva offered insightful feedback that was both practical and compassionate, tailored to my unique situation and taking the barriers of my life into consideration. The recommendations provided were not only realistic but also empowering, guiding me to take actionable steps towards achieving my goals in a way I was not previously considering. I am incredibly grateful for the guidance and care provided. Elva is an excellent nurse, and Nurse Coach. 

Elva was a pleasure to work with. She is a very insightful individual with the ability to see past the surface level of an individual. I genuinely appreciated her willingness to be vulnerable and felt like she did a great job at creating a safe space for sharing and conversation. Sessions with her helped me to process some of the emotions I wasn't even aware of in my own life and I am grateful for the time I spent with her. 

I loved my work with Elva! When we’d started working together, I was in a very stressful time of my life. I’m a mom to four young kids, working in school, and working at the hospital. She was very patient, kind, and helped me to incorporate mindfulness into my daily life. It has helped me manage stress and anxiety in a healthier way that has helped me accomplish my goals without getting discouraged or burnt out. She has a very calming and patient demeanor that I really appreciated. She is encouraging and nonjudgmental and is very easy to talk to. I would recommend her to anyone!

I found Elva through “Next Door” app.  Our first meeting was Novemeber 2024, and we met in my home for 1-2 hours each time for the completion of the 5 pro-bono sessions. Our time was very productive. I was able to make adjustments to my bank accounts and I have been successfully having more control over my spending and I now have a better assessment of my needs and wants.  In addition, Elva helped me explore motivating factors to be aware of, probing beneath the surface layer behaviors. This has given me awareness of thoughts and actions, which have proven very instrumental in accomplishing the objectives we set out to. I will miss Elva’s insightful and practical influence, and genuinely appreciate the opportunity to work with a talented individual.  

I want to thank you Elva, for always being a great friend and for stepping in as a coach and allowing me to see things in my marriage I was missing. It has been very helpful to see the parts I play in my marriage and to have more grace for me and my husband. I am looking forward to continuing to work together.
